After a brief respite, I am back and ready to look at the week's matchup. My apologies for missing the Baylor game and recap, limited internet access was the key, doh!

So the game by which Bo Pelini could become a hero, or a zero,  a goat, or a stud, a gubernatorial candidate, or well a goober!! However this will be quite unfair.  I cannot see any scenario by which NU beats OU.

When a dominant defense is matched up against a pathetic offense, the offense loses the game, not just by not scoring, but giving up scoring opportunities.  I almost wish that Zac Lee would get the start, because he would give the Huskers the better chance to not get killed.

Playing Cody Green is high risk and high reward...perhaps he can finally jar this offense awake and make plays that turn into TD's.  Then again it is just as likely that he turns the ball over 3-4 times and NU loses by 30+.

One thing is certain, I can't wait to compare/contrast Mccoy and Suh, and decide who I think is better.  Matchups are tough, OU has good CB's and NU can't seem to find WR's that get open and make the catch.  The TE's that we all though we be so great, have been taken out of almost every game, but if ever there was a game which we could use a big game from Mcneil it is today.  Defensively, Landry will be a great challenge, because despite his inexperience (wait don't we have that too?), he has been lighting it up and making few mistakes.

Bo has a chance to outcoach Stoops (who really has dropped off in terms of gameday coaching in the past few years), but wil be able to use his game plan, if OU lands haymakers early?

The only way I can see NU winning is if the defense can dominate, the offense control the ball without making turnovers that kill field position or put points on the scoreboard for OU, that NU plays well early to keep the crowd into the game, and if Cody Green makes at least 4-6 WOW plays either with his arm or feet.

I have no sense that NU is gonna win like I did during the Mizzu game, so I would ethically have to pick OU, but forget that.

I had a daydream in which NU won 31-17, so that's what I am "predicting" but don't be surprised if it gets ugly.  ;(

I will try to have faith, cmon Wata, do SOMETHING THIS WEEK!

GBR!!

Oklahoma is by far the better team.

I hope Nebraska plays well.
